Duration of the competition: 26 July 2022 – 30 September 2022.
Competition rules
- Participants. The competition is open to any holder of the NCU Alumni Card who in the academic year 2021/2022 studied at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń as part of a mobility program (ERASMUS, YUFE, language courses for foreigners, etc.) or who completed a full cycle of studies in English and returns to his/her home university or his/her country of origin.
- Duration. The competition starts on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 12:00 and ends on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 23:59.
- Competition task. Participants upload one photo where they are visible. The photo can be taken by the submitter (selfie) or someone else (please indicate the author's name).
- Jur The works will be assessed by the Jury, which will be composed of three employees of the Promotion and Information Section of Nicolaus Copernicus University.
- Assessment criteria. The Jury's assessment is primarily the situation and the person shown in the photo (ingenuity, concept), and not the technical quality of the photo itself.
- Technical requirement. The uploaded photo must have a minimum resolution of 1500 x 1500 pixels.
- Answers. To participate in the competition, please send a photo to alumni@ncu.pl, in the title of the e-mail please provide the name of the competition ‘CU NCU!’ and in the e-mail content provide your name and surname as well as the number of the NCU Alumni Card.
- Awards. There are three main prizes to be won. Each award includes a set of NCU gadgets: a sweatshirt and a magnet. Prizes will be mailed or picked up in person.
- Distinctions. The jury has the right to distinguish any number of works and award them with an additional ward: an elegant magnet with Nicolaus Copernicus.
- The contest will be adjudicated no later than October 7, 2022. The solution and results will be published on the contest website and on the Facebook profile. The winners will be notified by e-mail.
- Publication of the image. By sending a photo, you consent to its publication in the post-competition gallery.
- The post-competition gallery will be published on the website and in social media (Facebook, Flickr) of the NCU Alumni Programme.
